X Factor’s Amelia Lily starts work with Xenomania on debut album
Amelia Lily has revealed that she has started work on her debut album.
The teenage singer shot to fame on The X Factor last year and after being eliminated during the first live show, she was later voted back onto the series when Frankie Cocozza left and made it as far as the final.
She went on to wow and become one of the stand out acts to perform on the nationwide tour and earlier this year, signed her first ever record deal.
The blonde beauty is now working with acclaimed production team Xenomania, who have previously produced for Cher, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, The Saturdays and Sugababes and worked on all but one of Girls Aloud’s albums.
Xenomania started a record label of the same name in 2008, developing artists and working on material before looking for major label deals. They signed Amelia a few months ago to a £500,000 deal and Lily tweeted about her studio work this week, writing:
“I freakin love Xenomania, and everyone who works there your all heroes and I’m so glad to be working with you all xox”
As yet, there is no word when we can expect to hear from Lily in terms of her debut single or album, but some sources have suggested that both will be released in autumn of this year, to coincide with the live stages of the new X Factor series.
