Amelia Lily is one lucky lady!

The former X Factor contestant admitted in a recent interview that yes, Niall Horan did ask for her phone number and yes, she did give it to him but in the end the relationship went nowhere as she met her ideal man elsewhere.

The blonde beauty finished in third place on the ITV show and met One Direction when they recorded a charity single and it’s music video together.

She told Dan Wootton from Now magazine that Horan did ask for her details but in the end she decided against dating the Irish hunk.

Lily explained:

‘Sorry Niall! He’s a nice guy, but not my type I like dark-haired boys.’

Amelia has a serious boyfriend these days and describing the man in her life she added:

‘I’ve got a boyfriend who isn’t in the industry, which is what I like.

‘He’s 19 and an electrician – the complete opposite to what I do. But I like that.

‘When I’m with him I still feel like I’m a teenage girl.’

We find Amelia’s claims a little strange, when just last week she was claiming that she barely knows the 1D boys.

Speaking to MTV the teen singer said:

“I’ve had no kind of a relationship or dating thing with them and I don’t know how people are getting these stories, but I just find it hilarious.

“For starters, I don’t even really know the One Direction lads, I’ve only met them a couple of times.”
