X Factor’s Brian Friedman says ‘Cheryl and Dannii are hypocritical’
X Factor creative director, Brian Friedman has slammed judges Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole for their treatment of Kandy Rain.
The female judges slammed the girl band for their provocative outfits, telling them they need to be more demure and move away from the stripper image.
Brian told Closer magazine: “I couldn’t believe what Cheryl and Dannii were saying. I wanted to say: ‘Stop hating.’ They had no right to say the band was styled wrong. It was hypocritical and unfair because they’ve both performed half-naked on stage themselves.”

Dannii and Cheryl aren’t being hypocritical! They never did stripping like Kandy Rain, they wanted to get away from that image. Dannii and Cheryl had every right to say what they did to the girls.
The costume that Cheryl wore on Saturday was nearly identical to the one that Coco wore that she criticised for being too revealing etc. Also Cheryl would have chosen her costume herself whereas Kandy Rain were told by the stylist what to wear. I think Kandy Rain shouldn’t have worn the outfits they did but the fact they were strippers shouldn’t have come into it.
