X Factor’s Cher Lloyd follows in One Direction’s footsteps and announces new Australia and New Zealand tour
Cher Lloyd really is following the One Direction blueprint for success.
Fresh from her assault on America, the X Factor star has today confirmed that she will next be embarking on a concert tour of Australia and New Zealand, similar to the gigs the 1D boys performed earlier this year.
Cher came fourth on the 2010 series of The X Factor, one place behind the boyband and since has went on to achieve two top ten UK singles, a top ten album and her most recent single ‘Want U Back’ reached number 3 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, number 18 on the Irish Singles Chart and number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. In America, the song peaked at number 27 on the Pop Songs chart and number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Not bad for an 18 year old singer from Malvern.
Cher will take to the road in Australia later this year, once she finishes her US promo work with L.A. Reid and we have all the dates and venues below..
October 18: Wellington, New Zealand – TSB Arena
October 20: Auckland, New Zealand – Vector Arena
