X Factor’s Cher Lloyd: ‘I’m sorry for making funny faces when I sing!’
After Cher Lloyd made her X Factor debut on Saturday night, Unreality TV were inundated with emails and comments on her performance. Most of you loved her rendition of Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy but quite a few of you admitted that you were irritated by her strange facial expressions.
The 16 year old from Malvern in Worcestershire, has just addressed the issue during an interview on This Morning, admitting that she doesn’t mean to gurn while she sings. In response to a viewers question, Lloyd apologised saying:
“I can’t sing with my mouth shut so I have to try and get to out somehow. I’m sorry if you think that love, I don’t mean to do it!”
Cher also admitted that she has been surprised by all the attention she has received since her audition aired. She said:
It’s a bit weird I’d say. Because you’re walking down the street and no one takes any notice of you, then all of a sudden it’s like ‘Are you from X Factor?’ I don’t know what to do with myself then.
And who would she most like to duet with if she makes the X Factor live shows? Why Nicki Minaj of course! No we hadn’t heard of her either, so follow this link for some more information on the rap star.

I lovee Cher Lloyd, i love her singing voice and i love her style! I thought she was absolutely fantastic, and i think even if she doesn’t win she will get plenty opportunities like Diana Vickers etc. She has such an incredible voice.. i must say she does pull weird faces when she sings but who cares, at least she can hit all the right notes

I love cher , she was amazing.the media in the uk may assume not many people have heard of nicki minaj but truth be told she is one of the biggest new comer artist within the hiphop worl and has been featured on various artist songs ranging from our own jay sean, p diddy,drake,lil wayne, ludacris, mariah carey….long list….she has become famous soooo quickly and she is with the young mone record label..some of her song include your love and a great song called hold yuh by Gyptian ft nicki minaj which danii minogue was actuallydancing to in the car on her itv show…. xx cher should be signed my young money she’s awesome and it will take her far she just wouldn’t be here for a christmas number 1 she’ll actually be a star!! thats who jay sean is with .

I also like Cher, and her style is pretty great too. I wouldn’t like her to cross over to the rap side, cause the vocal capabilities certainly are there, she should stay at the R&B Hip-Hop genre. about the faces… well, it is a lisp. one she must let go if she wants to diminish her possible future haters.
I thought she was amaze. So glad she didn’t do Whitney or the like, although I’m sure she’s more than capable.
I’m actually one of these people who hate the X Factor, Big Brother etc but I saw this audition while a friend watched it and I thought she was really impressive, much more than any others I have seen. I will be watching the show now to follow her progress. And obviously vote for her! That is important too. (I have never voted on this sort of thing before.)
If she doesn’t win then either they haven’t taken enough care of her (she is young), or the British public are as stupid these days as some books would lead me to believe.

Reminds me of Diana apologizing for ‘the claw.’ She seems really talented though with a very confident ‘image’ for someone so young and unique too. Here’s hoping she goes far!
you go girl, dont let the ignorant people slate you just cos cheryl chose u over the other girls.It wasnt your fault, i think your very pretty and unique and i love your facial expressions, very expressive and shows character. Your very young and full of talent,being a pop star means being resiliant to negative comments, just concentrate on the positive ones. Rooting for you.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who found her faces annoying though! She’s kind of fit, but scary faces!!!
Weird does not even come close to explaining the faces she was pulling! It was making me cringe over my tea – almost embarassing. I f I shut my eyes and listened to it then it was good I have to admit.

I think she was alright but after all these rumors i dont know what to beleive. But none the less…her perfomences make me wanna dance along. Go Cher! I think your pretty but please tell us if any rumors are true or not. It would help us know the real you.
i actually cant stand cher, she’s to big for her boots, pulling little strops think shes the best well shes not far from it! she needs to grow up and reslise to stop being such a spoilt brat
