X Factor’s Gary Barlow says JLS remind him of Take That!
Gary Barlow has admitted that when he met JLS a few weeks ago, they very much reminded him of his own boyband Take That.
JLS met the X Factor judge when they performed on the ITV show a few weeks ago and it seems like they made quite the impression. Barlow praised them on Loose Women today, saying he admires ‘how nice’ they are to their fans and supporters and claimed they are very like him, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Robbie William and Howard Donald when they were younger.
I had the pleasure of meeting JLS a couple of weeks ago and they really reminded me of us guys back in the day. All they do is work, they are so ambitious, they are so nice to everybody and I felt that’s how we got as good as we were in the 90s. We always took our job really seriously. If we were doing a concert, we wanted to give fans a really big night out.
When asked how he thinks Take That would have fared, had they auditioned for the ITV show, the dad of three added:
I think we’d have done pretty well, yeah I think we’d have done alright.
We wonder what the JLS boys make of that then? Leave your comments below.
