X Factor’s Janet Devlin finds it hard to be ‘normal’ but Craig Colton is ‘living the dream!’

Janet Devlin has admitted that her life has changed ‘drastically’ since she shot to fame on the X Factor last year.

The Northern Ireland born teenager was an early favourite to win the show, after her audition was received with rave reviews from viewers and industry insiders alike. However, she struggled to maintain her identity during the live shows and was eventually eliminated after a disatrous cover of Hanson’s Mmbop.

Since appearing on the ITV talent series, Janet has been performing consistently all over the UK but she admitted that she can’t believe how much harder it is to have a ‘normal’ life these days.

Devlin said:

“It’s changed drastically really. Well not Family life or anything of that sort it’s just things like when you want to go somewhere. So having a normal life is harder. But I still have all my friends so I can be normal with them.”

Janet will hit the road later this week, when she and a number of her old X Factor pals kick off the X Factor tour in Manchester on the 25th.

On what she is most looking forward to about the shows, the red headed beauty added:

“Well obviously playing in all the big arenas and things but I do really miss a lot of the folks I met during the X factor.”

Craig Colton will be joining Janet when the crew return to the big stage this month, along with Misha B, Marcus Collins, Johnny Robinson, Little Mix, The Risk, Kitty Brucknell and Amelia Lily. However, he seems a bit more enthusiastic about the prospect of touring the arenas and revealed:

“The fact that I am going to be able to perform in front of fans that have supported me is the best feeling because I can finally be able to see them and say thank you.”

Craig is currently working on his debut album and it was recently reported that Take That star Robbie Williams has taken him under his wing and will work on the record with him later this year.

The Liverpudlian singer admitted that he has been having an ‘amazing’ time of late and added:

“It’s just been amazing, I’ve been in the studio working with some great people and it’s like living a dream.”

We have an amazing behind the scenes look at Janet, Craig and the other X Factor stars at rehearsals last week here, you should definitely have a look.
