X Factor’s John and Edward Grimes: Now its their turn to cry!
On last week’s X Factor show we saw twin brothers, John and Edward Grimes, reduce another contestant to tears, this week its their turn for a breakdown.
The pair will appear on tomorrow night’s show, when they jet off to Italy for the judges houses round of the competition. Having made it to the final 24 acts they are desperate not to mess up their audition but things don’t quite go to plan.
The boys sing ‘I want it that way’ by the Backstreet Boys, for Louis Walsh and his helper Ronan Keating. However Ronan, at least, is not impressed with their apparent lack of chemistry.
The Boyzone star told Louis:
“They should have the most chemistry between all these acts, they are twins they have grown up together and they look uncomfortable beside each other.”
The boys, knowing they hadn’t done their best, left in floods of tears.
Edward: I don’t want to be crying
Dermot: What is it?
Edward: I don’t know I just feel like, we go home and then it’s just like what the hell that’s it, then that’s what we’ll be remembered for, that’s the end no.
John: Yeah like on a bad note, unbelievable bad note.
Dermot: What like messing up?
Edward: Yeah, I think we meant our best it could of gone well and it didn’t, but its better just to go for it because it could of gone well.

They are only 17, I think it’s mean that people are posting hate mail. Also, the x factor is edited to make them seem much worse then they are.
It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks they are through to the
final 12, Louis wants them because they are Irish. Personally
I do not think they can sing and that is not down to bad
editing, I also think they are rude and obnoxious maybe editing
might make them look worse but the rudeness/smugness has too
be there in the first place it cannot be put there. I am glad
that Ronan did not like them it shows someone with sense.

If I’m honest, These 2 are young, but they have potential. Louis might keep them in JUST because their irish, but if they turn out to be good with professional help I’m sure Simon would see it too. Don’t forget alot of people come on the xfactor and they’ve sang before, had some sort of vocal treatment. and they get through. John&Edward haven’t had any and one of them have got sound in their voice. I just say give them a chance atleast. But i think their the type of people who you either like or don’t. And thats someones opinion. There’s no need to get in a big argument about who likes them and who doesn’t. I like them, That’s my opinion. Someone doesn’t like them thats theirs. No need to go over the top about it and argue.
I knew Louis was going to put these two wasters through, so there was no big surprise there.
Personally I think he did it for the publicity factor as he sure as hell has no chance of winning the competition.
I am bitterly dissapointed with Ronan Keating though, he should have argued the case that they were no good and just because they are Irish and have haircuts which could replace toilet brushes wont make any difference. You either have talent or you dont, and these two certainly dont. The only thing they do have is an instant dislikeability factor. Maybe Simon asked Louis to keep them in just to get the viewing figures and phone votes up for lots of people who just want to see the back of these two selfish individuals.
I wish that the telephone votiing on X Factor was run differently and you voted who you wanted off rather than who you want to save. If that change was implemented these two no hopers would be out at week 1.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed and that might happen anyway.

Jesus some people are really unbelieveable! seriously Jhon and Edward are amazing i love them to bits already. And how is it funny if someone cries surely if any one of you haters where on the stage and started to cry you’d hate it if you found aload of hate comments.

The color shoes the boys are wearing or the hair styles, or whatever it is that’s bother the haters out there. It’s a competition and it’s nice to see what they’re actually work hard for this. Everyone else has had training and everything for their voices and these two dont.

I can’t get them out of my head and it hurts knowing I won’t ever meet them. They seem so sweet and ever since I saw them I have read pretty much every article, seen every video and played them back thousands of times. I’m sorry but these guys are amazing. I love them so much and they really are the sweetest guys. I met them at the X Factor House and they were so lovely. It’s upsetting to see them getting all this hate. GO JEDWARD!

Look, no-one knows the twins personaily. I’m finding this all harsh what the people are saying about them, give them a chance, you dont know them!!! Really, deep down, i think they are funniest and nicest person i know. All the harsh things your saying about the twins is actually making me very angry! You should never judge before you actually know them! John & Edward, keep going! I know you can doo it!

okay, for the past few weeks while x-factor has been on i have hated john and edward. they have been cocky, they have messed up dance moves and dont even get me started on the singing. but some how they have been kept in every week. everytime they have been on i just stop watching. last week they sang a song that i love called ’she bangs’ and i couldnt help but laugh at them. i actually enjoyed watching them for once. they aren’t the best singers in the world, but they are fun to watch. i think that once you get around them being cocky ect.. then you actually see that they are nice people deep deep deep inside. im looking forward to seeing them this weekend. i think they do actually have a shot at winning this
