X Factor’s John and Edward Grimes ‘We are Current Artists!’
X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes, have said that their lack of singing talent is not important, because they are ‘current artists.’
John told The Mirror: “I know people are saying we can’t sing, but we’re singing current songs and we’re trying to show that we’re current artists.
“The thing is, we can’t come out and just wail these massive ballads. We want to be doing something people have never done on a show like this before.”
Edward added: “You don’t see artists nowadays just singing, they are dancing too and showing that they can actually put on a live show.
“People don’t want to spend 80 quid on a ticket to see someone just standing there singing.”

No but they don’t want to spend £80 to watch two people prance round the stage acting like 5 year olds because they cannot sing or dance. People might like to see singers dance but they also want them to be able to sing.
I think the twins are a bit big headed to call themselves artists, they are being used by X-Factor as a joke to get more money and free publicity. If you took away all the little girls that vote for them because they “are in love” with them there would not be many votes left.
I Think they arn’t big headed. I Think their are doing what everyone should do and be very confident. They Are Artist Yes. Many People Dislike Them, But More People Love Them.
They are great artists, They could win the x factor,And they will win the x factor,Because I Am Voting For Them

The John and Edward fan club are mainly below the age of 13. With the vast majority being children into Hi5 or fivealive.
their lack of singing talent is not important because they CAN sing. they may not have the best voice in the competion i think that point has been proven but they have the skill to entertain and dance. they get alot of stick but they come out everytime smiling and enjoying it. i think if a audience can see the performer is enjoying their selves then the audience will too. some public and press are bullies and thats the way it is. the thing with john and edward is they have so much energy so they know that they dont need to stand there in the midde of the stage like their feet are glued to the middle. they want to do something that hasnt happend on a show before and it looks like to me their goal is happening and i love them for it. it really is true artits cant just stand there. i would pay 80,00 pounds to see them.
they remind me of the movie the brady bunch they are living in a world of their own and are actually believing they have talent stop voting for them cause when its over they will be depressed
