X Factor finalists, Kye Sones, has revealed that he has been asked the huge honour of being the godfather to Celebrity Juice star, Fearne Cotton’s new son.
Fearne, who is one of the team captains on the hilarious ITV2 panel quiz show along with her best friend Holly Willoughby, announced on the show whilst Kye was still in the X Factor live show stage that he and her were very good friends, and had been before he auditioned for the show.
And now, according to the Daily Mail newspaper, Fearne has cemented their friendship by asking Kye to be the godfather of her new born son, Rex.
Fearne gave birth to Rex Rayne Woods, her first child with partner Jesse Wood, on the 21st February this year, taking to social networking site, Titter, to announce the happy news with a picture of the tot along with the caption:
“Jesse and I are over the moon to announce the arrival of Rex Rayne Wood born on the 21.2.13 <3 <3 beyond in love.”
Kye then took to the same site where he let it slip that he is to be the child’s godfather a week later, tweeting:
“Just met my godson Rex for the first time and he is the coolest dude EVER! :-).”
But now the reality star has confirmed the news that Fearne, who he has been friends with since they were 11, had asked him officially, to the Daily Mail, explaining:
“I got a text from Fearne with a picture of Rex. It said, ‘I love you so much already, I want you to be my godfather’.
“I don’t know what exactly a godfather does but I’m definitely up for doing it. Rex is the cutest baby ever.”
Fearne is currently taking a year out from her Celebrity Juice duties with X Factor star, Rylan Clark taking her place while she is away.
