X Factor’s Laura White Denies Falling Out With Diana Vickers
The X Factor’s Laura White has denied rumours that she’s fallen out with fellow contestant Diana Vickers over the voting results.
The Daily Star claimed last week that the results of the first four live shows had been leaked to the contestants in advance and suggested that it had created tension between Diana and the other female singers.
However, Laura has insisted that the article was “not true at all” and has denied any animosity towards Diana.
“Diana was my best friend from the start and we shared a room in the X Factor house, so it would have been a bit difficult if we hadn’t got on” she said.
Diana was granted “a free pass” to the next live round as she’s suffering from severe laryngitis, but Laura, who was of course voted off, says she bears no grudge about it.
“Diana was a very ill girl and if she’d have sung her voice would have gone. I don’t feel any anger at all and what happened couldn’t have been helped” she said.

Ruth is a very talented, pretty girl who has been fighting her way though the competiion. Although she is as talented as she is, she has still been in the bottom two, several times now.
Why is it that when laura (another talented singer) is voted into the bottom two everyone has a “hissie fit”? When Ruth (is) has been there fighting for her place in xfactor, does not make everyone angry and want checks on the phone lines, actal vote figures etc.
With regards to the “Free-Pass” for diana due to being so ill that she could have suffered long term damage…
* If you were in her shoes, wouldn’t you be devistated to be so ill you could not sing, when singing is her dream, her place in life. She would not be on the show if she was not talented enough.
* Do you honestly think that if Diana, wasn’t ill and had sung, would have kept laura from the bottom two? Well I am sorry to say this, but you should open your mind up more. The voting system, phones lines, and the xfactor rules/workings are fine, if they weren’t then it would be obvious that something was up.
With all these TV shows there is always these battles between the viewers and the show when something they don’t like occurs. This is life, it happens everywhere we look.
* The facts are facts…
– They had the least votes and were therefore bottom two.
– Diana was so ill if she had sung she could have caused long term damage to herself. (Don’t tell me you would have her disqualified, because if you were in her place you would not do the same to yourself would you?
– Daniel has been put though every evening so far until tonight. He was no way going to win it, and no way the one for a music record. He has got though this far by using sympathy cards. He has used too many not and so has been voted off. If you have a problem with laura being voted off then be mad at the fact that Daniel could have been voted out allowing someone else to continue and thus could have change how the last few shows had gone. (Circle of life, chaning one thing will affect another. So if daniel was voted out earlier then the bottom two last week could have been two completely differen’t people, or someone else could have been ill.)
– ITV have said that the lines were fine, the voting system is working correctly. They’ve even said that they had the least ammount of votes (on the show and to the press) and you should just trust them. If you don’t believe it is fair then do not watch it, fine something else. Stop making such a big deal.
My favourite singer is Diana, although I have liked Ruth from the start also. I have not kicked up a fuss, make a ton off rumors up or challanged the “xfactor bosses’” over it when ruth is placed in the bottom two, or when they put two much makeup on Diana (when clearly she does not need it, she is so pretty without it).
Those 30 odd thousand people complaing and signing lists online to get laura back or change the way xfactor runs have a big lesson to learn and should really sit down and really think about it.
Sadly there are alot of people these days that just do not question everything, or concider the slightest possibility. (Narrow minded, no imagination etc, these are some of the things that describe you!)
