Nicole Scherzinger may be a new X Factor judge but it seems that won’t stop her fraternising with the enemy.

It’s no secret that The Voice coach Will.i.am is no big fan of Simon Cowell, especially after he sacked his pal and client Cheryl Cole from The X Factor USA last year – and incidentally replaced her with Nicole – but Will and Nic joined forces in the recording studio anyway this week.

It seems that the Black Eyed Peas star doesn’t hold Scherzinger responsible for Cheryl’s snub in 2011. The pair recently collaborated on will’s song ‘Mona Lisa Smile’ from his upcoming album ‘#willpower’, and two days ago they shared a picture of them back in the studio together.

Nicole tweeted on Sunday saying:

“Me and @iamwill in the studio… making la la la la la’s in LA.”

And Will.i.am wasn’t the only reality TV star who worked with Nicole that weekend either. Perez Hilton also revealed that he and American Idol judge Randy Jackson were also in attendance, writing:

“Just had a very inspiring studio hang session with @iamwill, @NicoleScherzy and @YO_RANDYJACKSON! Sharing music and ideas! #SharingIsCaring.”

Nicole will be heading back to the UK very soon, to work on her new series of The X Factor UK, on which she joins fellow judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh.

She has already attended a few audition dates as well as the bootcamp rounds and will soon be taking part in promo work for the new run as well as judges houses, where she will have to whittle down her hopefuls for the live shows.
