Nicole Scherzinger won’t reveal whether or not she’s coming back to the X Factor this year but we can reveal that the brunette beauty will be working in the UK again very soon.
The former Pussycat Doll singer won favour with the British public after she put on a ‘schamazing’ show on the 2012 series of the ITV singing competition and she revealed on Twitter yesterday that she has a new and exciting project up her sleeve for her UK fans.
Nic was taking part in a Q&A session on the micro blogging site when a fan asked:
“@NicoleScherzy would you consider doing some musical theatre? You were amazing in the royal variety:) #AskNicole xx”
Scherzinger responded, writing:
“Absolutely I have a great surprise coming up for you all I’m working on somethingwith Andrew Lloyd Webber!”
A post on Lloyd Webber’s wall confirmed the news and it read:
“Andrew is working with the lovely @NicoleScherzy, @KlassMyleene and @SimonCowell today. What IS he secretly cooking up?”
Of course the US star has worked with the famous composer before, when asked her to sing a theme from his musical Phantom Of The Opera on the Royal Variety Show in 2011 and some sources say he has also snapped her up to play Mary Magdalene in the film version of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Scherzinger has been busy promoting her own music as well as considering new projects and it seems to have paid off, as she revealed yesterday that her new single ‘Boomerang’ is top of the UK single charts according to midweek figures from the Official Chart Company.
“HOLY SCHAMAZEBALLS BATMAN! Just woke to #BOOMerang being #1 on the midweek charts! Thank you so much UK,” Scherzinger tweeted.
The full midweek chart update will be revealed at 4pm tomorrow (March 13).
