A pal of Olly Murs has joked that he may ban the X Factor star from singing at his wedding.

Olly agreed to be an usher in next year’s ceremony and also offered to sing the opening song. However his pal Lee Phillippo has told The Daily Gazette that he may ban him from singing, as everyone would be more focused on the singer than on the bride and groom.

Lee, 23, said: “Before he was on the X Factor, he said he was going to sing. But now I said, ‘you can’t sing the opening song, because everyone will be more focussed on you’.”
