X Factor’s Rita Ora, Cheryl Cole or Dannii Minogue to replace Jessie J on The Voice 2013?
Last year Jessie J guest judged on The X Factor, when she appeared in the judges houses’ round with Tulisa Contostavlos. Just days later she announced that she would be joining The Voice as a coach. Insiders have claimed that Rita Ora could pull a similar stunt when her X Factor scenes air this summer.
The RIP hitmaker joined the X Factor panel when auditions hit London in June and sat alongside Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos before Nicole Scherzinger was chosen as the new permanent judge.
A source has said that her warm reception there has attracted the attention of BBC bosses, who are currently on the lookout for someone to replace Jessie J on next year’s series of The Voice.
Star magazine claims that Rita isn’t the only one on the Beeb’s wish list and admitted that ideally they would also love to sign former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, or even Anastacia, who joined the panel for the Glasgow tryouts in June.
A source told the publication:
“There are lots of big names in the frame, including Rita Ora, Anastacia and even Dannii Minogue, but Cheryl would be a dream signing.”
“Everyone knows she’s right for the gig but it’s just a matter of making it work.”
The insider added: “Everyone at the BBC loved Cheryl when she performed on the show… bosses are convinced she would be a hit.”
Cole’s manager Will.i.am has already committed to a second series of The Voice and would be the perfect person to convince his client to take part. Danny O’Donoghue has also revealed that he will be back but it seems unlikely that Tom Jones will take his seat in 2013.

You need talented people to judge what is talent. Cheryl Cole is not talented.Cheryl Cole has the like ability factor and does endear herself to people. As pop goes she fit the profile of a pop star. USA found her out as the yanks knows real talent and did not want to be judge by someone with lesser talent than the contestants. Will-i-am is a wast of space, there are younger more talent in the states. Why chase after 29yrs old Cheryl Cole, amazing what black men will do for a Sh*g. Give your show credit by choosing creditable artist like Tom Jones and not image driving and headlines seeking limited individuals. Our licence fees can and should be spent more responsibity.
Why have you singled out Cheryl Cole to insult, and also you know full well why Cheryl was fired from x factor USA.
Why just single Cheryl out? And what’s with the disgusting Will I Am jibe? At least Cheryl never slept with him or Simon Cowell – that’s more up Dannii Minogue’s sleazy street!!
Of all the names Cheryl Cole is the last person I would pick. No offence Cheryl but where is your personality? Bring back Jessie J, definitely more talented and her very direct opinions were appreciated and often accurate.
i love cheryl ,but i dont want her to judge on the voice because the voice is very bad .She was amazing on the x factor and people who say she has no talent are jealous
I think that Cheryl would be good on the Voice but all of those think that she would be rubbish then;
1) You’re lunatics
2) She was great on The X Factor
Thanks.
i would really like to see someone like marina and the diamonds, katy perry or joe jonas as his brother nick jonas has been said to be joining american idol. dont get me wrong i love cheryl but there was a reason she was axed from the xfactor and to bring her on to the voice to replace jessie j just would not work for 1 she has lost her touch with the world of judging and 2 because this person needs to top jessie j also a great replacement for tom jones would be adel
she was fired because fox didn’t like her accent, she is a hit in tne uk, dont be down syndrome now love x
