X Factor’s Same Difference Speak Out About Sex Ban

X Factor finalists Same Difference, or rather Sean from Same Difference has been talking about the difficulties he is experiencing in upholding the sex ban which Simon Cowell imposed at the beginning of the show.

Speaking to The News Of The World, Sean said:

“I can’t go out and be a lad because we have this image. I don’t want to risk ruining it for us. I can’t do the things that I used to associate with pop stardom. I have to be very careful about one-night stands. I can’t have sex with a girl at the moment,” said Sean, 21.

He added: “Simon would be disappointed. He’d wash his hands of us because he’s worked so hard to create something so amazing.

“I don’t want to ruin it for my sister. I’m a great believer in lust being a bit of a sin—it never comes good in the end.”

I don’t think it’s appropriate to write what I would like to write here!

The phone lines for “Same Difference” were so rigged It’s unbelievable. We as three separate families in one street, all with our own land lines, tried to vote for them but all lines were blocked. On the land line all of us got “sorry we do not recognise the number” and our mobiles were saying, “you have dialed an incorrect number”. ‘I DON’T THINK SO’. We even got engaged on several occasions. We tried both of the other contestants numbers and got through straight away and they gained a point each they should never have got.Same Difference were the only act of the final three that had any life and talent, and in spite of them being cheated out of the prize, I know they will go on to make their fortune, and still be going in our charts long after the other two have been long forgotten.

I was a fan of SAME DIFFERENCE but i thought it was disgusting that they mimed on saturday nights x factor live show and the same again on the tv programme GMTV,i was going to see them live at Ipswich but i dont want to pay out good money if they are going to mime on stage,if you cant sing and dance at the same time live, then forget about the dancing, fair enough i think,Keith

I agree with you there, but with the ammount of dancing they did, its not surprising they mimed. All the greats do it. I was more surprised that all the X Factor contestants mimed when they sang Hero than Same Difference miming for this song. I think they are both great role models, and they should have got higher than 13 for their first single. I <3 Same Diff.!
