Simon Cowell’s best pal Sinitta has been offering her opinions on the remaining X Factor finalists and explains why she thinks it’s such a close competition this year.

Speaking to BBC Berkshire Sinitta said:

“It’s so close. This year I’ve been really confused about what’s going on and what the public want. I think Olly is amazing, a good all-rounder. I think he really is a proper pop star.

“I can see the appeal in Stacey, all she has to do is walk on stage and talk and you want to pick up your phone and start voting for her.”

“And then little Joe, he is the Disney child, you can see him singing all the Disney soundtracks and on the west end.

On the winners single, which is rumoured to be Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’, Sinitta said:

“They all sound great on it,” Sinitta said. “They’ve all had to cover it I’ve heard all the versions and they sound great.

“People say that Olly’s voice is the weakest of the three that his version is spectacular. He has an amazing recording voice. It really can go either way. It suits all of them”
