Anyways, I’ve started a couple of great threads on the forum tonight.

The first is the annual debate about whether talent shows like X Factor are killing the music industry. It seems to come up every year with musos like Elton and Robbie wielding pitchforks in the direction of Simon, Louis and Sharon. What do you think - is it all in good fun, or are talent shows killing music?

The second thread is called X Factor Xtra Reading (I did the X thing again there!). In this thread, we’re going to link off to the best blog posts and articles about X Factor on the web. And you can join in! We’re actively encouraging people to link to quality X Factor 2006 posts on the web.

Also, if Tabby or I notice any interesting discussions taking place on the forum, we’ll link back to them from the main blog, and likewise any star commenters.
