American Idol spinoff show “Idol Gives Back” has raised an amazing $45 million since the star studded special aired on Wednesday night.
Packed full of performances by Annie Lennoz, Mary J.Blige, Carrie Underwood, Elton John, The Black Eyed Peas, Joss Stone and Jeff Beck, the annual show averaged 18.4 million viewers during the 8 00-10 00 p.m time slot.
All monies raises will go to the Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation.
