It all kicked off in Big Brother land last night, after Sam told Josie that she will probably sell her and John James story to the highest bidder when she leaves the house.
Earlier in the evening, Australian housemate John James asked the group what the media coverage of the show was like in the UK.
Dave, Steve, Andrew and Mario admitted that most tabloids reported on the show each day with Mario adding:
“The slightest sniff of romance in here and they go crazy for it.”
John was surprised by the comments and said:
“If anything, I think any romance in here would make your time less not more. From what I’ve seen, people that get involved in romances and shit are normally out rather than in,” he said.
“Not necessarily,” replied Mario. “The Paul and Helen romance [in Big Brother 2] lasted the whole series.”
Andrew added that magazines would pay John James and Josie more for interviews because of their relationship.
Josie entered the room and heard snippets of the conversation, forcing her to exclaim:
“Fuck off. It’s not about the money.”
Sam laughed and jibed: “Oh yeah, it’s all about the love, isn’t it?”
“I don’t really look that far into it, to be quite honest. It is what it is and it ain’t what it ain’t. Everybody can think what they want,” she replied. “Something like that wouldn’t even cross my mind.”
Sam continued to goad the Bristolian, saying that she would sell their story to the highest bidder.
“Well, you’re totally, totally wrong,” Josie angrily replied.
“Whether I’m wrong or right, that’s my opinion,” said Sam.
Josie stormed into the bathroom where she told Corin:
“It just so happens that I’ve found someone I’m really fond of. That has really hit a nerve that has.
“I’ll allow him off about Miss Piggy, I’ll allow him off what he said about that poor girl, but don’t push that button!”
