Tonight Dexter Koh, Gina Rio, Sam Evans, Jack & Joe Glenny and Charlie Travers battled it out for the top spot and it has been announced that Dexter Koh has fallen at the final hurdle and has finished in the runner-up position.
The possibility of winning came so close for Dexter but it was yanked through his fingers.
Since entering the house 10 weeks ago, Dexter has been like marmite with the public. One minute you love him and the next you can’t stand him. It has been said on multiple occasions that Dexter has a sneaky and slimy game plan going on and that he hasn’t been himself in the house. But, the all important question is: Has Dexter been himself or is he playing a big game?
He told Emma that he never thought “in a million years” that he would be in the final, never mind coming runner-up. “I was chuffed to get to the final and complete the process” he added.
Dexter survived a whopping seven evictions. He said he doesn’t know why people saved him. “I thought I was going out fifth, so I am so glad to be here” he said.
“Not really, I don’t. I have a good heart and hopefully that came across. I do admit I am a risk taker and I have taken risks in the house. It took me a long time to become myself – I came out of the safe house and suddenly, I realised who I was” he said when asked if he agreed with comments that he was a manipulative character.
He went on to add that he had a “strategy” when going in the house and when he became friends with people in the house his strategy fell apart. His strategy was to “observe” his fellow housemates.
“I’m used to taking a lot of crap in my life and I’ve taken a lot o crap in the house and that was just one of those things” he said about Charlie’s rejection last night.
