Big Brother 2013: Sam Evans tells Dexter Koh he knew what he was up to in the task and Dexter claims he doesn’t appreciate the “negative vibes”

by Nick Barnes

As part of yesterday’s shocking twist, Big Brother told the nominated housemates that whomever chose the least amount of money from the pay wall would leave the house immediately with the cold, hard cash.

Although Dexter chose the least amount of money, Big Brother told him it was all a lie and he would be immune from tomorrow’s impending eviction for being the least selfish housemate by choosing the smallest fund. However, Sam Evans isn’t convinced and calls Dexter on his game.

Sam tells Dexter: If you came in here really selfless and you came in here to ‘change yourself’ and you don’t give a f**k about the money, you would have just taken the ninety-nine [thousand]”.

However, Dexter tells the other housemates that he doesn’t appreciate the “negative vibes”.

Charlie says: “But, you can see why you’re having them though. If you thought you knew me and I turned around and did what you did, you would definitely question me?”

Dexter adds: “I’d stand by you though”.

I’m not too convinced that Dexter was being strategic, I reckon he was being a tad selfish. Whilst in the small task room he said he knew that the other housemates would pick high as they wanted to stay… therefore, if he went a tad lower with the £88k he knew that he would most likely be the housemate with the lowest number. Subsequently, he would leave the house with just over £88,000 in his pocket… but it backfired and it hasn’t worked out that way leaving him looking humiliated and people knowing all about his sneaky ways. Although… I could be wrong!

Big Brother continues this evening at 10pm on Channel 5/HD.

8 is a lucky number in China and he has mentioned this in the house. That’s part of why he went for the 888 & it certainly worked for him. Whatever he had done they would have found a reason to pick on him. If any of the others had done the same thing they would be congratulated. He has taken all the nastiness that has been thrown at him from the start and smiled through it. I’m glad he’s in the final, he has earned it.
