Britain’s Got Talent 2012: David Walliams is a Vogue model, heads down to Alan Carr’s Chatty Man & surprises fan with call!

David Walliams is in British Vogue this month and this morning posted a picture of himself looking amazing in the magazine on his Twitter.

Tonight the Britain’s Got Talent judge and Amanda Holden will be recording an episode of Chattyman, to go out this Friday, before the BGT moves into it’s live semi finals.

He left Ireland to film the show today and his generosity was made public, when a fan tweeted him today thanking him for calling his sister, who is a big fan.

Craig Sterling said:

“can’t believe my dad (Mark) lifted you to the airport today and you rang my sister Tina Hope u enjoyed the stay.”

Tina herself added:

“Just had the most amazing phone call ever!! I got to speak to @davidwalliams thank you :)) #speechless #amazing Dad got him to phone me when he was taking him to the airport!!! Act didn’t no what to say lol shocked lol. He asked me my fav act on #BGT and I froze lol couldn’t think!!!! He talk for about ten min!! Lovely!! :)) I forgot to thank you for the signed books :)) really kind #thankyou x”

Meanwhile, John Crichton, who had David Waliams and the cast of Blandings filming in his house for the past few weeks can’t sing David’s praises enough. On Sunday he said:

“Lovely dinner with the brilliant David Walliams and my parents. A pleasure to have him at Crom Castle for BBC Blandings. Last week on the set of PG Wodehouse’s BBC Blandings being filmed at home Crom Castle, I played a footman opposite David Walliams. Ironic!!”

Today he aded: “Hysterical moment with David in Supervalu Newtownbutler today trying 2 buy his dinner! Thank u for the giggles and ur love of Crom”
