Britain’s Got Talent 2012: So who else cried while watching gorgeous Malakai Paul perform?

There’s always one act on Britain’s Got Talent that totally reduces us to a blubbering mess and this evening, it was nine year old singer Malakai Paul.

We should have known from the before the youngster took to the stage, that there was going to be a harrowing moment of two, as beforehand both Paul and his mum admitted that he suffers from stage fright and gets incredibly nervous.

Well it seems that the pressure of performing for four famous judges really was too much for Malakai to bear and on his first attempt at a tryout for the ITV show this evening, the youngster was seen bursting into tears and unable to continue with his rendition of ‘Listen’ by Beyonce for the panel.

As half the nation wept for the poor child, viewers watched Alesha Dixon rush to the stage to comfort the tot, while his mum tried to console him and help him compose himself.

After a bit of a break, Malakai then decided to out himself through the ordeal again and sang the ‘Dreamgirls’ track again. This time perfectly from beginning to end.

The audience were cheering him on, with fans shouting ‘come on Malakai’ from the crowd and the second time round, though some of the judges were crying, the schoolboy from London managed to control his tears and get to the end of the track.

The judges looked shell-shocked throughout his performance, as if they couldn’t believe how totally amazing this little boy with the big voice had turned out to be.

Afterwards Dixon told the youngster that he is a total ‘star’ adding that he has a “natural raw talent, that’s what we are looking for. That was amazing sweetheart.”

David Walliams loved it as well and raved that he thought it was “a really special audition.” He added:

“I agree with Alesha, you’re a total star.”

Simon Cowell liked Paul’s bravery and continued:

“You got off to a bad start but you picked yourself up and people are going to like you a lot.”

Unsurprisingly, got four yeses from the panel and a place in the next round and though no official announcements have been amde yet, we’d be shocked if he doesn’t make the live shows next month.
