Britain’s Got Talent 2013: Azuka Ononye, the father of Alesha Dixon’s baby, earns just £15k a year!

It’s been reported today that Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon’s boyfriend – and the father of her unborn baby – Azuka Ononye earns just £15,000 a year as a dancer…

However, given that Alesha kept her relationship with Azuka – or AZ as he’s known to friends – a secret, she’ll probably be pretty annoyed that reports are now circulating about his modest income!

The Sun’s TV Biz reports, “THE father of Alesha Dixon’s baby is a £15,000-a-year dancer who lives in a modest flat.

“Britain’s Got Talent star Alesha stunned the showbiz world last week by revealing she is pregnant with Azuka Ononye’s child.

Strictly Come Dancing 2007: Alesha Dixon“Until that point the millionaire former pop star had kept the relationship secret.”

The paper goes on to claim that Alesha and Azuka have in fact been an item for around three years, and that they were “close friends” before they became romantically involved.

Originally from Nigeria, Azuka moved to the UK with his two older brothers when he was a teenager, and while Alesha lives in a mansion worth £500,000, Azuka and his brothers share a “modest flat” in London.

A source close to the couple said, “She and AZ are perfect for each other and they are madly in love, but they couldn’t have more different lives.”

The insider added, “AZ’s a very charismatic guy, so Alesha was drawn to him and any man in their right mind would fancy Alesha, so things just sort of developed naturally.

“About two years ago they properly came out as a couple with us, but they didn’t want anyone from outside our core group to have any idea.”

But apparently, the couple’s baby news “came as a shock” to even their inner circle of friends.

The source added, “They are not in a mad rush to tie the knot, but there will be wedding bells at some point in the not too distant future.”
