Yesterday saw the start of the last leg of the Got Talent auditions. Or as David Walliams put it: “I am in Birmingham, the final city of the BGT audition tour. Fingers crossed we find some talent or my Simon may have to downsize his yacht.”

David had been looking forward to it all week, telling Amanda Holden he dreamed of Simon and counted the days, still something very interesting happened on the day itself: for the first time ever, David Walliams was not the first to arrive!! The girls (Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden) arrived first on the scene. But People were disappointed to find they went in quickly, though not before noticing a donkey on the parking lot.

David arrived a little later, looking a bit pale, tired and distracted. He quickly changed when Stephen Mulhern jumped in front of the queue of waiting people, begging him for an autograph. David obliged, then met up with the other waiting fans.

He did go in quicker than usual, though if he thought he was late, he shouldn’t have worried, as there wasn’t a sign of dark lot Cowell for a long time. When everyone was finally complete, every judge had met up with Daybreak reporter Richard Arnold and David finished handling business on his phone, the auditions started.

BGT (2)As Amanda Holden said: “Birmingham!! Interesting day to say the least!”

Well, how about a painting donkey (poor thing). Yes, the little donkey joined hopefuls inside to show his talent. I’d really wish that people would let their pets be pets. Another pet talent arrival was a little dog who soon found itself on Simon Cowell’s lap, licking his face, being doted on by all judges and a lot more dogs followed.

Then there was “Porkchop”, girl group Addiction, who went through AND are Rylan Clark fans – if you must know. A woman making noises, someone basically had a wedding on stage, rapping, a contortionist.

James More a brilliant magician who span on a sword and made tissues fly who sailed through (David: *teasing* You’re going to do magic? Simon LOVES magic! Simon: I DO like magic when it’s good.) A scary group called Team Bone Break, who did exactly as it said on the can and got buzzed of quickly, with David saying he was scared. The audience, strangely liked it. A naked Disney singing woman also auditioned (why, just why -the Bare Necessities indeed,) and went through.

And then there was David Walliams, whatever Simon Cowell is paying him isn’t nearly enough in comparison with judges who just sit there doing nothing. Despite looking tired on arrival, David was on the WHOLE time, no matter how late it was. Joking with the audience, talking to them, even joining the warm up comic Ian Royce on jokes, despite him being there to give the judges a break.

David went into the audience, did karate (even some high kicks) and even lost his shoes at some point, as they ended up in the audience. He did acts with a banana, scared Simon and flashed his legs at him and gave him massages. He even did impressions. To many HE was the greatest act of the night.
