The new series of Britain’s Got Talent airs later this year, but it seems that new mum Alesha Dixon – who’s a judge on the show along with Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams – is “anxious” that her remaining baby weight might be picked up by the cameras…

So she’s going all out to get back in shape with the help of a personal trainer.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Alesha – who gave birth to her daughter Azura Sienna last October – said, “I’m having dress fittings for BGT and I say thank god for Spanx.”

She added, “I felt nervous about leaving the house today. I felt anxious.

“It’s the first day I’ve left my daughter. I’m only just starting to feel like myself again because you get into a mummy bubble and you almost forget there’s another world out there.

“I don’t want motherhood to change me too much.

“I want to stay true to who I am but be the best mum I can be at the same time.”

When Azura was born, Alesha – who was formerly a judge on Strictly Come Dancing – took to Twitter to say, “I’ve had the best present in the world…

“My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week!!!

“I’m elated and over-the-moon.”

She added, “It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long!!!

“I was in my sixth month of pregnancy at the Britain’s Got Talent final!”

I had no idea she was pregnant until it made headlines in the media. She was tiny wasn’t she? She looked like she’d never eaten a full meal, let alone having a passenger on board!

Mind you, the same can be said of Amanda who, as we reported earlier, apparently sunbathed naked while on holiday in the Maldives over the New Year. She tweeted images of herself looking super slim while enjoying the beach with her daughters, Hollie and Lexi.

Here’s a reminder of both Alesha and Amanda on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent…
