Big Brother 2013: Big Brother finale, Celebrity Big Brother launch dates confirmed, bosses promise big CBB launch twist

The Big Brother 14 finale and Celebrity Big Brother launch dates have today been confirmed by Channel 5.

In the final schedule listings released today, it has been confirmed that Big Brother will come to a close on Monday, August 19 and Celebrity Big Brother will launch three days later on Thursday, August 22.

The Big Brother finale will take place over two shows. The first part of the finale will be 60-minutes long from 9-10pm on Monday, August 19 and the show will return at 10:55pm – 11:30pm in which the winner of the series will be named – which is looking likely to be Gina Rio if the bookies are correct.

The show will go on a break for three days until the whopping 2-hour Celebrity Brother Launch on Thursday, August 22 from 9-11pm.

Meanwhile, bosses have teased that there will be a HUGE twist for the Celebrity Big Brother 12 launch in just over two weeks’ time.

The day after the launch of CBB 12, a special 90-minute live show titled ‘Celebrity Big Brother: The Big Twist’ has been scheduled looking at the finalised listings – who knows what it could mean! There will of course be time for the first set of highlights from the Celebrity Big Brother house, which could leave around 30 minutes for the “big twist”.

Names linked to this year’s Celebrity Big Brother include Outkast’s Bad Boi who has reportedly signed a £300,000 contract, Geordi Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, football pundit Ron Atkinson, Helen Flannagan, TOWIE’s Joey Essex, Loose Woman Carol McGiffin, Peter Andre and former X Factor judge, Tulisa Contostavlos – but we don’t think the latter is likely.

For the past few years we have had loose women (ahem) in the house along with TOWIE stars, so those sorts of names are very much likely to happen.

Big Brother continues this evening on Channel 5 at 10pm.

Why Helen Flannagan, didn’t we see enough of her on I’m a Celeb last year. Surely it’s a bit too soon to put her in. I know a few of the names mentioned but as is the norm I will never have heard of most of them.I expect there will be the usual token American shoved in there, mostly never heard of. I’ll probably watch the launch show without expectations and by day 2 I’ll be hooked as usual.
