Celebrity Big Brother - Summer 2013

After 23 days in the house and probably more than 23 bottles of wine later, Carol McGiffin has left the Celebrity Big Brother house in fourth place.

Carol has had her ups and downs in the house, she has been loud and she has most certainly been drunk. But, above all she has been hilarious and has told people as it is. Carol is a bit like marmite, either you’re going to like her or you don’t… there’s no middle ground with her.

Upon leaving the house, Carol had quite a few cheers from the house – they certainly exceeded the the boos.

In her exit interview with Emma Willis, Carol said: “I can’t believe it. Half an hour ago I was absolutely fine and suddenly Mario went and I lost it. I didn’t think for one second that Mario would go before me. I thought Mario and Charlotte would be the last two out”.

“I don’t know. It’s so ridiculous in there but coming through the door to see reality is the most amazing thing. It’s unbelievable to see people and lights and to be out. I feel amazing, I feel great” she said about exiting the house.

Carol explained about her ever changing personality: “I was holding quite a bit back actually. There was a lot of things I didn’t think I could say. There’s a lot of sensitive people in there – there’s no need to hurt people on purpose. If people were doing something to annoy me, I’d have told them”.

“It p*ssed me off so much when people moaned to want to leave. I had a game plan to get out as soon as possible, but the minute I got in there, I loved it! I honestly thought it was going to be much more difficult. I know I was loud and p*ssed all the time but I loved it. I could not have been the way I was in there without Charlotte. She is an absolute diamond and I love her to death,” Carol went on to explain.

When asked if she is ever going to be tamed, she said: “No. I’m enjoying myself, I love my life and I’m enjoying myself. I haven’t really changed, I’ve changed the way I think about myself… this is going to sound weird but I’m a lot nicer than I thought I was. I was nice to people in there that I didn’t really like”.
