Celebrity Big Brother 2013: Carol McGiffin, Lauren Harries & Mario Falcone held hostage by Mr Big and the housemates in the main house must complete his every wish

by Nick Barnes

Today, the housemate have been set a task in which three housemates have been held hostage by the mysterious Mr Big!

The three housemates that have been taken hostage are Carol McGiffin, Lauren Harries and Mario Falcone. To pass the task and free the captured housemates, the housemates in the main house must complete a series of tasks.

How it Works

Three Housemates are called to the Diary Room, they’re told that their task is to pretend to be being held prisoner, by a fake villain called Mr Big. To pass the task they must get the Housemates to complete a list of demands. They will be secretly living in luxury watching the others from their hidden room.

One of the Prisoners pretends to be Mr Big, dressed up in the Diary Room, and shown on the living room plasma, talking through a voice changer effect, introduces the task to the other housemates. The screen then cuts to static as this prisoner then quickly rips off the costume, and goes down to the task room to sit in one of the trick chairs that makes it look like they are tied up with the other two housemates in front of a dungeon backdrop. The three tied up prisoners then appear on the screen, and to show that Mr Big is serious, he drops horrible insects all over the housemates in the chairs. In fact this is a trick, and the insects are really harmless lentils and black beans.

From this point onwards the three ‘prisoners’ are based in the task room, where they will be watching the others from the luxurious half of their room. When it is time for a demand to be made, they will record these demands in the Diary Room through a voice changer, which will then play into a pay phone in the house.

The demands are a follows:

Demand 1: Food – The housemates are called and told that Mr Big demands that all food is returned to the store room. They will now eat the same slop as the prisoners and it will be served on prisoner style canteen trays.

Demand 2: Charlotte’s Big Night Out – As Charlotte LOVS partying, she must eat three kebabs and down three pints of larger (non alcoholic) in three minutes.

Demand 3: Courtney’s Belongings – Mr Big has taken Courtney’s beloved husband, Doug, hostage and for him to be freed Courtney must hand over all her possessions, beauty product and her bunny! She will have to wear dirty overalls. If she completes the task, the will be able to see Doug in the small task room.

Demand 4: Saved by the Bell – Dustin must become Screech and perform the Saved by the Bell theme tine. In order to become Screech, he will have to shave his beard, which will be done by another housemate in the garden. He will then have to put on a curly wig and a costume and sing the theme tune in the living area.

Demand 5: Louie Dancing on Glass – Louie must dance across broken glass in the living area. Of course, the glass will be sugar glass, but Big Brother hopes to freak him out by giving him a special briefing on how to walk on glass.

Demand 6: Itchy Sheets – The prisoners must choose who they believe are the three laziest housemates. They will have their sheets replaced with itchy straw and hessian sheets, like the prisoners are supposedly sleeping on.

Celebrity Big Brother continues this evening at 9pm on Channel 5/HD.

Lauren Harries is living a life of luxury… again?

Favouritism. Lauren has been in a similar situation before why not give someone else a bit of luxury. It should have been given to Bruce to cheer him up a bit. If BB are really worried about his state of mind why make him eat slops, it will send him over the edge. I hope Dustin refuses to shave his beard off too. They will probably fail the task anyway as part of it is the other housemates thinking that they are really suffering. As Lauren was laughing when the bugs were supposedly dropped on them I don’t think it would take much working out by the others that it’s a scam.
