It’s been reported today that Page 3 girl and Celebrity Big Brother 2013 housemate Lacey Banghard has ditched her boyfriend in the hope of sparking up a romance in the CBB house.

And according to the Star on Sunday, Lacey has her eye on rumoured fellow housemate, former Coronation Street star Sam Robertson, who played the role of Adam Barlow.

A source close to 19 year old Lacey told the paper, “Lacey had been dating him for a good while but felt like it was the only option.

“There were a lot of tears and they’re hoping to remain friends…

“She didn’t want to have to worry about what he was thinking about her house antics – she just wants to enjoy herself.

“Sam is a good-looking guy and Lacey definitely finds him attractive.

“She’s not shy and won’t hold back just because millions of viewers will be watching.

“This could be the sexiest series ever if Lacey gets her way.”sam robertson

However, though of course the show hasn’t started yet – it launches on January 3rd on Channel 5 in a two-hour long show from 9pm – insiders are apparently already worried that Sam may walk out within days.

But her bid for romance could fall flat because insiders fear Sam, 27, will struggle to cope and could even walk out.

The actor was originally supposed to appear in Celebrity Big Brother’s summer series last year, but pulled out at the last minute.

A show source said, “Just hours before he was due to enter the house Sam said he couldn’t face it.

“He had gone into hiding before the series started and just couldn’t cope being locked up and away from the outside world.

“Other guests in the hotel where he was staying said he was going crazy not being able to do normal things like call his family.”

However, the insider continued, “He’s convinced them he won’t prove to be a let-down this time around.

“But unless he keeps it together, Lacey’s plan for a romance could be ruined.

“Even if he makes it into the house, he’s unlikely to find it easy coping with the pressures.

“There will be fireworks.”

Here’s a reminder of Sam playing the role of Adam…
