After 23 long days inside the Celebrity Big Brother house, Abz Love has finished as this year’s runner-up in second position.
Abz missed out on the top spot as Charlotte Crosby Came in and snatched the crown. Abz was a tad quiet in the house and was a bit of a slow burner, but his housemates seemed to like him and so did the public as they voted him into second place.
Abz got massive cheers from the crowds as he left the house.
In his exit interview with Emma, he said: “It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. It’s so much more than a game, your heart is involved. I didn’t know if I was coming and going…”
When asked what it felt like to be in the final two, he explained: “I never expected that. Charlotte so deserves it, I thought Lauren would have won but Charlotte deserved it. She’ll be fine when she gets out”.
Speaking about whether he thought he could win the show, he said: “At first I was like ‘I have to win’. I had an incredible reception and I’m so humbled. To be in with all these real celebrities who are at the peak of their performance, I’m so humbled and honoured”.
“I’ve got so much love for everybody inside and outside the house. I’m trying to make that little difference one person at a time. I appreciate every moment but I couldn’t wait to get out. I miss everything about day-to-day life,” he said about now being on the outside.
Of the drama, he said: “It was crazy how people were drinking every night and I couldn’t find my center, the antics were a little too much for me. I looked for an escape route but I pulled through. I learnt a lot of self control in there. It was the same thing with Carol every night, that got me going a bit. There was one moment with Bruce when he had a go at Lauren and I wanted to go for him and tell him that it wasn’t right”.
