Celebrity Big Brother: Jedward IMMUNE from eviction & confusion over Brandon Block medical drama?

Celebrity Big Brother favourites Jedward were late entrants to the new series party, arriving on Friday night during a two-part live show.

And that being so, they are immune from the first round of nominations and evictions. Which is of course great news for their fans, though perhaps not such great news for some of their housemates.

As we reported over the weekend, some of the celeb housemates, most notably Jasmine Waltz, are finding the exuberant Irish twins a little bit “exhausting” to live with.

But as mentioned, as they are immune from the first vote-off, she’s going to have to get used to it because they are there for at least another week.

However, James Jordan wasn’t overly chuffed when Big Brother revealed that Jedward couldn’t be nominated either, and when BB said, “New arrivals Jedward are immune from being nominated,” James loudly declared, “What?!

“Why are they immune?”

Meanwhile, the aforementioned Jasmine and Nicola MacLean had a quiet natter about nominations, and after Jasmine said that she knows who one of her choices will be, but not the other, Nicola woefully added, “I like everyone…”

In other news, as we reported over the weekend, the Daily Star claimed that housemate Brandon Block had been “rushed to hospital” having suffered chest pains.

Obviously that was extremely worrying, despite the fact that the article went on to say that after tests, Brandon returned to the house.

However, it was further claimed that he was being monitored “around the clock” for any sign that he was becoming unwell.

On Twitter though, those overseeing Brandon’s Twitter account reassured his followers that he’s fine, writing, “Checked in with producers last night and It’s been a bit fabricated! The tests were routine!”

We’re very glad Brandon is okay, and hopefully will continue to be so. And not least because we want him to stay. He’s rapidly showing himself to be a real gent in the house, which frankly makes a very nice change.

Hopefully though his family and fans will realise that in reporting on the story the Daily Star ran, while I freely confess I should have checked the facts myself, I didn’t personally fabricate anything.

But hey, that’ll teach me for not doing my own checking and I sincerely apologise if I caused any worry or upset to Brandon’s family, friends and fans.

On that note, we’ll have lots more Celeb Big Brother news soon.
