Former Dancing on Ice winner Beth Tweddle is worried that she’ll be booted from the new series of the show tonight, given that she’s struggled to train and rehearse this week after suffering a tear in her calf muscle recently.

However, her partner Lukasz Rozycki has also been in the wars, and over the weekend, he tweeted an image of cuts on his arm with the comment, “Got a little souvenir today from @bethtweddlenews 😉 Nothing comes pain free lol lx”

Beth jokingly replied, “Your welcome!” (sic)

But of her fear that her lack of rehearsal time could cost her her place in the show tonight, Beth told the Daily Star Sunday, “I’ll be so nervous when they’re announcing who’s been voted off this weekend, even though it’s my first week.

“The hard thing is once you’ve completed your performance there’s nothing you can do about it.

“You just have to hope the public are supporting you. It’s a nerve-racking moment.”

However, she added, “Anything can happen, I know that…

“Jorgie [Porter] was voted off, but I think there are going to be more shock exits throughout the series.

“I’m not thinking past this weekend. Other celebrities want to know what’s coming up next week but I don’t want to get ahead of myself.”

But Beth conceded, “I would be disappointed if I went in my first week.

“I think I’ve got a lot more to show but I know it could happen.”

As fans of the show will know, when she competed in Dancing on Ice last year, Beth was partnered with Dan Whiston, but as mentioned above, this time around she’s performing with Lukasz, of whom she said, “It’s been a challenge changing partners because I’d never even met Lukasz.

“We had to build up a friendship so he knew what I could do and I could trust him.

“It takes a bit of time to put that trust 100% in someone.”

Here’s a reminder of Beth on last year’s series…
