Hayley Tamaddon returned to the ice a victor tonight, after winning her battle against Beth Tweddle last weekend.

The actress has been giving her all to the series so far and she’s clearly determined to make the final again, so it was no surprise when she fully embraced the 80s theme for the evening.

Before the show began Hayley told her fans that she was crippled with nerves over the retro routine and tweeted:

“Getting nervous guys!! Me and dan have something a little different for you tonight.. We love it, and we hope you do too! Xx”

She was excited too, particularly about the music she and Dan Whiston were given and last night the brunette beauty posted:

“I’m sat in bed listening to my music for tomorrow going over the routine in my head.. My legs turn to jelly the minute it starts..”

While most of the stars had cheesy routines tonight, Hayley and Dan were given something more emotional and dramatic as they performed to the Eurythmics’ hit, ‘Here Comes The Rain Again.’

We were glued to the screens for every step, every spin and every lift. For us, it was our favourite Tamaddon and Whiston routine of the series to date.

ASHLEY ROBERTS: I lost myself in it. You have been coming up fighting. The commitment and the chemistry you have is gorgeous and empowering and strong.

KAREN BARBER: It’s not always about big tricks, what you showed was depth of performance. I held my breath until that last move.

JASON GARDINER: Hayley this was a refreshing change, to see you embark on something out of your natural comfort zone. This had a ton of emotion and passion. It was beautiful to watch.

NICKY SLATER: The hairs on my neck stood on end because it was so beautiful, because of the quality and the execution. You are moving up.
