Following on from the shock elimination of Pamela Anderson in last week’s Dancing On Ice 2013 opener, the next crop of celebs, including TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, boxer Luke Campbell, TV presenter Anthea Turner, comedian Joe Pasquale, rugby player Gareth Thomas and Labour politician Oona King, will make their debut on the ice tomorrow night…

However, as Luke’s pro-skate partner Jenna Smith has fallen ill with a bug this week, there are fears that his time on the show could be short given that he has missed training time with her.

But Lauren Goodger doesn’t have similar worries, and in fact has a trick or two up her sleeve which she hopes will help her to win the show! More on that in a moment…

But first, of Jenna’s illness, she tweeted this week, “Laying in bed. I’m so sick. Boo.”

An ITV source told TV Biz, “Jenna has been to the doctor and told to rest up as much as possible.

“But obviously she can’t do that, so she’s been dragging herself to training.

“She’s not on top form and that won’t do them any favours for their first appearance on Sunday.

“Luke is nervous but he is determined to give everything he’s got.”

Aww well we wish Luke luck and hope that setback won’t have affected him too much! But back now to what Lauren Goodger’s been up to in order to help her do well on the show, and she’s revealed that she’s been having belly dancing lessons.

The Sun reports, “The Towie star has called in Irish singer Carol Anthony to help with the sessions in a bid to loosen her muscles.”

A show source said, “Lauren is determined to impress when she skates on Sunday night and when it was suggested belly dance might help, she jumped at the chance.

“It might seem a little unconventional but it really helps with flexibility.”

Dancing On Ice airs tomorrow night on ITV at 6.15pm, with the results show following at 8.30pm, but for now, here’s a reminder of Pam’s shock elimination…
