Dancing On Ice 2013: Samia Ghadie hits back at Twitter trolls saying “I’ve done nothing wrong and I have nothing to say to Jennifer Metcalfe”

As we reported earlier, woman scorned Jennifer Metcalfe has claimed that her former boyfriend, Dancing On Ice star Sylvain Longchambon, told her that he has “feelings” for Corrie star Samia Ghadie on Christmas Day…

And since news about Samia – who is of course making her DOI debut tonight on ITV – and Sylvain’s alleged relationship broke a few days ago, Samia has been bombarded with abuse on Twitter, despite claiming that she isn’t dating Sylvain, and that she split with her boyfriend Will Thorp for “personal reasons” while adding that she’s very much single.

While speaking to The Sun, an emotional Samia said, “I’m not thick-skinned at all, I’m not a tough person.

“But I’ve just got to know myself and my position, and that I’ve done nothing wrong.”

Samia added: “My family and friends know the truth. I have not got anything to say to Jennifer because I don’t need to justify anything.

“Me and my boyfriend split up for personal reasons to us.

“I’m single, and it’s sad when you split up. I don’t want to go into details why we split up but it certainly has nothing to do with anyone else.”

Mum of one Samia went on to say that she doesn’t have the time to nurture a new romance right now anyway.

She said, “The show takes over your life. To go from not being able to skate in October to getting to this stage you have to be fully committed.

“It’s so dangerous, you have to concentrate the entire time.

“You go through different emotions — frustrated, then happy, then angry, then you want to cry…

“I haven’t regretted signing up though. It’s the best thing I have ever done.”

Meanwhile, the Mirror reports that Jennifer has told friends she has been “bowled over” by the support of her fans following her split from Sylvain.

One of her friends said, “She has been absolutely ¬delighted by how people have rallied round her.

“She’s had texts and tweets from hundreds of people. The ones that meant the most to her were from the friends she has in ¬Corrie.”
