I’m A Celebrity 2013: Celebs in for “hot and steamy” time in the jungle! Joey Essex, Tulisa, Hazel O’Sullivan to swelter in 50 degree heat?!

by Lynn Rowlands

When this year’s crop of celebs head to Australia to take up their places in camp for the new series of I’m A Celebrity, they’re set swelter in temperatures that could reach 50 degrees…

Weather forecasters also warn that the risk of fire in the camp is high, given that New South Wales – which is of course where the ITV show is filmed – is currently “under siege from raging bush fires.”

The Daily Star reports, “Forecasters predict the lethal combination of the heat, dry forests and lack of rainfall will make things very sticky in Murwillumbah, where the celebrity camp is located.”

The article goes on to say that if temperature in the I’m A Celeb camp does reach the expected 50 degrees, it’ll be the hottest summer the state has known for 30 years.

A show source said, “This is set to be the hottest I’m A Celebrity ever.

“We know viewers love a jungle romance but it looks like the stars will be getting hot and sweaty for all the wrong reasons.

“However, they need to be careful as extreme heat can cause sunburn, nausea and fainting fits.”

As to who will be sweating their baguettes off Down Under, earlier this month, bookmaker Ladbrokes revealed these are their top tips for the I’m A Celeb lineup…
