It’s been reported today that I’m A Celebrity favourite Joey Essex is going to leave the jungle a winner, regardless of whether he’s crowned King of the Jungle or not…

And that’s because home shopping giants Very and Littlewoods are apparently set to offer him a deal worth in the region of £170,000 if he agrees to be the ‘face’ of their marketing campaigns.

The Sun adds, “And supermarket giant Tesco could also be in the bidding for more of the dopey celeb’s services.”

It seems that all the firms are interested in selling Joey’s Fusey label clothes next year, and of the deal, a source close to the TOWIE star said, “It would be a fantastic deal for Joey if it goes ahead as offered.

“He would be quids in as his fee is rumoured to be more than £170,000.”

However, the paper also claims that Joey and his camp mates could be in for some stormy times over the next few days, and have already been subjected to a replay of the bizarre squall that whipped up during the first few days of the show when the camp was battered by giant hailstones.

A show insider said, “Yet again we were pelted with massive hailstones. This time they were as big as golf balls.

“I have never seen lightning like it.”

The unusual storms are forecast to continue until Tuesday, however, while everyone deals with literal storms, others of a more metaphorical nature are also brewing, and as we saw in last night’s show, a row between Amy Willerton and Matthew Wright kicked off over booze.

The hoohar began after teetotaler Amy declared that if there was a choice of food or alcohol as a task reward, she’d choose food every time. However, as some of her campmates are gagging for a beer, they took exception to what she said.

Matthew told her, “Alcohol above everything. You had sweets. Come on, we can have booze once?”

But Amy insisted, “If it was me doing the challenge and there was alcohol, I’d never pick alcohol.”

Oh dear…
