Scarlett Moffat has reportedly landed herself a cushy new gig.
According to reports, the former Gogglebox star – who won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year – has now landed a new role co-presenting the ITV2 spin-off show Extra Camp.
That’s according to a new report by The Sun, who’s claiming that the reality star will now be hosting the show alongside her fellow ex-campmates Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash.
“This is a huge gig for Scarlett and one she’s worked hard to get,” a source told the site of the star (who’s also fronting Streetmate right now) after being Ant and Dec’s right-hand woman on the most recent series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
As for why they’re supposedly getting Scarlett on board, the insider claimed that the spin-off show just got too out of hand last year when it was presented by Chris Ramsey and Vicky Pattison who got mixed reviews at best.
“Last year’s show was just a bit too chaotic for producers, so they wanted to switch things up,” said the I’m A Celebrity insider, adding that “the current plan is to have Scarlett host the show alongside two other presenters.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is expected to return to our screens in November and will likely mark the first time Ant McPartlin is back on screen since heading to rehab earlier this year. He publicly announced his battles with depression and addiction to prescription medication and alcohol in June.
The popular host is still recovering, though sources have claimed he’s aiming to be healthy enough to head to Australia with Dec for the new series towards the end of the year.
