We recently caught up with stunning B*Witched singer Lindsay Armaou to talk about her decision to star on The Big Reunion and about what lies ahead for her after the show’s Christmas Party Tour, which kicks off on December 11…

You can see the first part of our chat with Lindsay by clicking here – in which she talked about the difficulties she had over some aspects of her personal life becoming public knowledge on The Big Reunion – but we also spoke to Lindsay about her acting ambitions.

As her fans may know, following the parting of the ways of B*Witched, Lindsay underwent two years of drama training at The Poor School in London…

She subsequently landed a role in The Merchant of Venice, and went on to star as Isabelle in Ring Round the Moon, Felicity Rumpers in Habeas Corpus, Anya in The Cherry Orchard and the Ghost of Christmas Present in a production of A Christmas Carol.

She explained, “Well, prior to 2009, I was still very much in the music industry. I was writing and recording…

“But the industry was changing fairly rapidly, mostly thanks to reality shows like X Factor, and it was becoming harder and harder to make a mark.

“Companies in the music industry seemed not to be interested in developing an artist, they just wanted the ready-made pop stars who were coming out on the back of the likes of X Factor…

“So at the time, I just thought that I’d like to get out of it for a while and try something different.

“I’d always wanted to try acting, so I went for a weekend course and at the end of it, I was offered a place on the full-time course.

“It was a two-year course and after it, I got an agent and since then, I’ve done a couple of films and some other things, but I’m really keen to get my teeth into some more acting roles next year.

“This year’s been very much taken up with band work, so I’m looking forward to sharing my focus between the band and more acting work.”

We asked Lindsay if – now that she’s had experience of starring on a reality TV show – there are any others she’d consider taking part in.

She said, “I’d definitely consider going on Strictly Come Dancing…

“But I’ve also been watching I’m A Celebrity and I’ve been sitting there thinking, ‘I really think I could do this!’

“I mean I say that while I’m sitting in the comfort of my own living room, so maybe I’d find it a lot harder than I think I would…

“But yes, I’d definitely love to do Strictly. For one thing, you’re learning a new skill, which is always a good thing, and I’d love all those amazing outfits the celebs get to wear!”

And finally, we asked Lindsay if she’s looking forward to The Big Reunion’s Christmas Party Tour, to which she replied, “Oh absolutely it’s going to be great, and I’m really excited.

“We all have such a laugh together, so I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

“And of course I can’t wait to get up on the arena stages again and play to thousands and thousands of people.

“Plus with it being Christmas time, the atmosphere’s just going to be immense.”
