Britain’s Got Talent 2012: Amanda Holden says she’d consider adopting a child!

It seems that BGT judge Amanda Holden is still feeling broody, despite having given birth to baby daughter Hollie in January this year after a traumatic labour.

Amanda, who also has a six year old daughter, Lexi, almost died when she began to haemorrhage after she give birth to Hollie, and for that reason – and the fact that she lost a baby the year before – she doesn’t want to endure another pregnancy.

She told the Daily Star Sunday, “I don’t want to have any more children of my own – I want to live.

“I’ve got two beautiful girls. I’m 41 now and these are the children I was meant to have, so I won’t try for another baby.”

But of the prospect of adding children to her family, Amanda said, “I’m definitely the kind of person that could adopt…

“When I’m 60 I’ll think about adopting or fostering.

“I don’t know how Brad and Angelina do it – they’re amazing. I’ve never seen their luggage but I struggle to pack less than five bags for us lot.”

She added, “I’m just so happy to be alive. Touch wood nothing bad will happen in the next couple of years – I don’t think I could handle any more.

“I always tried not to sweat the small stuff but now I sweat it even less. I have the most amazing home life and husband.

“And not being pregnant means I can hit the margaritas. I have hardly drunk for the past three years.”

And finally, Amanda revealed that with regard to BGT’s forthcoming live shows, she can’t wait to see what comedian David Walliams might get up to.

She said, “It’s live and unedited and there’s nothing anyone can do – I can’t wait.

“I’m hoping David will strip naked and lie across the desk or do some near-the-knuckle jokes.

“He hasn’t been warned that he needs to behave – he’s his own man.”

I’m also looking forward to unscripted moments from David. I love his sense of humour.
