Lions and Wales captain Sam Warburton has told BBC Sport that fellow Welsh rugby star Leigh Halfpenny and England player Owen Farrell are massive One Direction fans!
The X Factor band usually play for thousands of screaming teenage girls, however apparently they can count some strapping, burly big men amongst their supporters too.
Warburton revealed that despite their team rivalry, Leigh and Owen have bonded over their love of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and their tunes.
“I don’t think, I know. I saw it. [The players] would be jumping into the Landrover, because the kickers leave late, and they’d have the windows down blazing out One Direction and they loved it. They all got on really well.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported today that One Direction can’t split, despite all the breakup rumours surrounding the band.
The Little Things singers have been keeping their distance from one another since starting their break from band duties in December this year and during his trip to LA, Harry has been spotted meeting with a music producer and reportedly been penning loads of solo tunes.
However insiders told TMZ that the lads can’t even consider a split, because they owe SYCO massively!
The five singers are still contracted for three more albums and to renege on the deal would see them losing millions of pounds each.
An insider told the website that the boys are all penning solo turns during their time apart, however they will all compare songs and notes when they get together again before their world tour begins next month.
The band’s Where We Are shows will take them to stadiums all around the globe and it’s expected the stars will record their fourth studio album on the road.
