OUCH! Just ask those winter Olympians out there – skiing can be such a dangerous sport and poor Amy Childs has found herself at the center of a terrible injury.
The ditsy former TOWIE star has reportedly fell over in training for Channel 4’s new reality TV show, The Jump and … broke a finger nail! What’s more, she even called out for an ambulance.
A source told the Daily Star: “Amy freaked out and started crying. Her appearance is everything to her. She called out that she wanted an ambulance.
“Everyone else just fell about laughing. Someone handed her a plaster and told her to just get on with it. Poor Amy was mortified”.
The Jump is a new winter sports reality TV programme that is set to launch on Channel 4 in the new year, and a whole host of celebrities are currently in training for the show.
All joking aside, some winter sports can be pretty dangerous which means that Amy isn’t the show’s only casualty.
Simon Cowell’s on-off, on-off, on-off and on and off again former lover Sinitta has also fallen over and sprained her ankle recently, which meant she had to sit out of training for a day.
Socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is set to take part on the show, which is set to be hosted by Davina McCall next month, but she has also fallen to the dangers of skiing by getting herself a… splinter!
The girl’s may be experiencing broken nails and splinters, but the real winner if Flash Gordon star Sam Jones as he was actually taken to the hospital when he fell during a ski jump..
The Flash is set to kick off next month and is expected to coincide with the Winter Olympics. Other stars set to take part include Melinda Messsenger, ex-Pussycat Doll Kymberly Wyatt, Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, comedian Marcus Brigstocke and celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke.
