Katie Price is getting married again! Will it be third time lucky with stripper Kieran Hayler?

It’s been reported today that reality TV star and model Katie Price is set to marry again, having become engaged to stripper Kieran Hayler.

However, Katie and Kieran apparently met only a matter of weeks ago, so of inevitably, one has to wonder if it’s all too much too fast.

But evidently Katie doesn’t agree, and of Kieran, she told The Sun, “He’s a normal guy — and when something feels right I just go for it.”

That ethos hasn’t worked for her in the past of course, given that she’s been married twice before, and both marriages failed in rather spectacular fashion…

In 2005, Katie married reality TV star and singer Peter Andre, with whom she had two children, before they split far from amicably in 2009. They of course first met while starring on I’m A Celebrity together.

Following that disastrous union, Katie then wed former Celebrity Big Brother – and cage fighting cross-dresser – Alex Reid in 2010, but again, the marriage was doomed to failure and they parted ways in January 2011.

Katie then began dating Argentine model Leandro Penna in April 2011, and she announced her engagement to him in April 2012. However, in October last year, Katie revealed that she and Leandro had “mutually decided” to end their relationship.

Katie Price and Leandro Penna … don't tell me it's all over.

And of course, Katie has had a number of high profile relationships over the years, including one with footballer Dwight Yorke, who is the father of Katie’s son Harvey. She’s also dated Teddy Sheringham, singers Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers and her former dressage trainer, Andrew Gould.

Well, let’s hope it is third time lucky for Katie and that the marriage will last. Everyone deserves to be happy, and while I of course realise Katie isn’t universally loved, what nobody can take away from her is that she’s a good mother, and really, in the big scheme of things, does much else matter? I’d say not.

Here’s a reminder of her fairytale wedding to Peter Andre at Highclere Castle, which is of course where Downton Abbey is filmed…
