Louis Walsh SLAMS One Direction ‘monsters’ Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan

Louis Walsh should hope he never has to be in a room alone with One Direction, because the X Factor star has been slamming the boys once again.

The former Westlife boss may have been instrumental in the creation of the band back when they auditioned for X Factor in 2010, however he clearly isn’t a massive fan of the boys.

Walsh has been very critical of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson’s solo careers and it’s fair to say that he isn’t full of hope for their forthcoming achievements.

He thinks only Harry will be successful and blames Simon Cowell for creating such entitled lads. “Too much money, too much success too quickly. Simon Cowell created monsters and that was it,” Louis told Event magazine.

“They all think they’re going to be solo stars. They’re not. Only Harry. That’s it.”

One Direction have been on hiatus since December of last year and Walsh thinks that was an awful idea too! The Irish star is sure that the singers should have stuck together, if they wanted to eek the last drops of fame out of their music careers. He thinks the stars were ill advised, greedy and cocky.

“Then they’ll be sorry they broke up and it’ll be too late because there’s another boy band. That’s what always happens in boy bands.”

What do you think of Louis Walsh’s comments on One Direction? Duo you think they were deserved? Is he just trying to get attention by talking about the boys or does he have some valid points?

The boys are not monsters. Sure they have money and fame but that does not make them monsters. They ALL are capable of being solo artist not just Harry. Niall came out with a song (This Town) and it is successful , so who says his other songs can’t be. They all have the potential to do something will there careers not just Harry.

Louis Walsh doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. I think both he and Simon are trying to turn One Direction’s fan against them but it’s not going to work. Nice try Simon and Walsh, you should know by now how loyal we are to those boys. Simon is just bitter because the boys are no longer with him and Walsh being Simon’s best friend is bitter too.

I agree with both comments 100%!!! We are true fans and plan on staying that way no matter how long it takes!! The X Factor should just “STOP” and leave 1D alone!!..Good Grief!! The boys will do fine in what ever they do after all Simon or Louis W. didn’t get up there and sing the songs and make all the fans..Followers will continue to follow because the boys are good and we love them…

They threw away what so so many wish they had. If anything they have tunnel vision. I don’t believe any of them will be as successful alone as they were together. It is very hard to find voices that sound like heaven when they sing together. I understand the feeling of wanting “more” but that is the problem when is it enough. Appreciate what you have because it can be gone in a flash. Who is to say the band will be ready or even in one piece if they decide to reunite, life goes on for all involved Sad very sad..

Rosalie, That assumes they want what they had as individuals. It was a fun run, but now it is time to move on. They want to speak in separate voices and that is good. Let’s see what they have to offer. It is not important for them to be as popular or famous as together – it is only important that they do something beautiful others can enjoy. The world is honestly not all about money. Just 1/2. Let us see what they do, if in front of an audience or behind the scenes. I am excited to see.

I understand that. BUT My point is when you have it all and you are at the top and you throw it away for creativity and being on your own own , the harsh reality is they have no where to go but down..

Louis isn’t going solo and its not the four boy’s fault that Zayn ditched them. I agree that they won’t be successful outside of 1D but it’s unfair to blame all of the boys as entitles when Zayn is the only one that has behaved that way. The rest of the boys have never said anything superior or acted entitled, particularly Louis who has used a huge portion of his earnings to support his home town and charities. Louis particularly has also been the most humble about his good fortune, also, did I mention he wasn’t going solo?
