Made In Chelsea: It’s official – Louise Thompson and Andy Jordan make their first public appearance as a couple?

by Anna Howell

After weeks of speculation, it would seem that the rumours are true, Made In Chelsea stars Andy Jordan and Louise Thompson are officially a couple!

We reported earlier this month how Thompson had reportedly dumped her long-term (ish) partner Spencer Matthews and replaced him with his arch-nemesis, Andy Jordan.

Fans of the hit E4 reality show will know how Andy, an old Uni friend of Jamie Laing, came bounding onto our screens at the beginning of series 4, and instantly made a b-line for Louise Thompson, much to Spencer annoyance.

Louise never seemed to mind too much, but the situation had Spencer coiled like a cobra to the point where he had it out with Jordan in no uncertain terms, several times.

Jordan remained undeterred, however, and seemed to almost enjoy the thrill of the chase with Spencer as much as he did with Louise.

Then, during last year’s Christmas special, Francis Boulle informed Millie Mackintosh that Spencer had been cheating on Louise, which resulted in a huge showdown during which Millie slapped the heck out of Spenny’s cheek.

Since then, Louise and Spencer had made a huge point about how they are moving on and working on their relationship, but during Monday’s series 5 premier fans saw Lucy Watson approach the pair over dinner to inform Thompson that Spencer had phoned her and asked her for a date the day after they broke up, causing Louise to throw a napkin at Spencer before he stormed off.

And, whilst we all assumed that this incident would have been forgotten as quick as the last one, it would seem that Louise’s bottomless jar of forgiveness had finally run out as the Mirror newspaper reports that not only has Louise finally dumped Spencer, but that she has also started dating Andy Jordan!

According to the publication the final nail in the coffin came when Louise’s younger brother found Spencer in Louise’s bed with another woman.

The split was later confirmed by their co-star Oliver Proudlock, who told OK magazine that he really didn’t approve of the way that Spencer had treated Louise, commenting:

“I don’t agree with the way Spencer treated her at all.

“Their relationship was so hard to graft. I think he did have this kind of control over her. I think that it’s the best for everyone that they’re not together anymore.”

And in the preview clip for next week’s episode fans were shocked to see Spenny telling Louise their relationship was over, as well as asking her how she expected him to respect her when she allowed him to cheat on her.

Meanwhile, Louise sparked rumours that she had moved on to Jordan by posting this picture on social networking site, twitter, of her enjoying a night out with Andy Jordan, with no sign of Spencer anywhere!

And now the Daily Mail newspaper has published pictures taken at an event on Wednesday night of Louise and Andy looking very much a couple!

The ‘couple’ were seen together at the launch of new global game, held at One Marylebone, sipping champagne as they watched the 2013 British Critic’s Choice nominee AlunaGeorge’s perform.

A source told the publication that, whilst Louise and Andy have yet to officially confirm their relationship, they spent the entire evening side by side, looking very smitten with one another.

Spencer doesn’t appear to be too devestated by any of this, however, as he has been spotted out with more than one female companion, including PussyCat Doll and Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Roberts, and, as we reported yesterday, model and dancer Verity Chapman.
