One Direction: Fan fury after Directioner says of Niall Horan, “He should’ve died in surgery!”

We reported earlier that One Direction star Niall Horan was back in Britain having had surgery on his knee in America, but it seems not everyone is glad to see him…

A drama on Twitter kicked off when it was first reported that Niall had had the surgery – he’s had a problem with his knee since childhood – as some One Direction fans seem to believe he should’ve informed them of the plan to have the operation, and to keep them informed of his whereabouts.

After dozens of angry tweets claiming Niall had “lied” about having the surgery, one sick troll tweeted, “Niall lied to us, he should of died in surgery. im gonna stop being a Directioner.”

Furious messages of hate were then directed at the person in question, and though we’d never condone trolling or posting abuse online, the anger of sane and reasonable 1D fans was, on this occasion, completely understandable.

Saying someone should “die” because they chose not to discuss private medical matters on Twitter is just plain ridiculous and wrong.

Which was the opinion of @1DUpdates_World who tweted, “Why is everyone making a big deal over the fact Niall ‘lied’ to us about where he is.

“He’s just had surgery, he wants privacy and rest!”

Other account holders added, “People are stupid and sometimes cant accept the fact Niall is hurt so they make a lie hoping its true.”

Another wrote, “wow wtf?you should be don’t talk like that.. He s not lied, Nialls need have privacy!”

Niall’s band mate Liam Payne has experienced the wrath of some fans this week too, given that he refused to stop and have his picture taken with a Directioner, which sparked abuse towards him.

Here’s what he had to say in reply, and about the whole balcony incident…

Let us know what you think about the fact that Niall didn’t tell fans he was having surgery, but for now, here’s a look at a recent interview with the Irish singer…

Honestly he did it for the fans sake FOR HIS SAKE 1 he didn’t want to worry the fans 2 he didn’t let anyone know where his hosipital that he got his surgery at because he didn’t want the fans mobbing it when hes trying to get home safely and he didn’t want paps mobbing him to try to get pics of his that’s why he was kinda irrtated (as you can tell in the pictures) when the pictures of him got out. I’m a directioner myself I was upset but I would never tweet Niall “you lied to us you should’ve died ” SERIOUSLY PEOPLE everyone needs some privacy at times and he didn’t need a whole bunch of people mobbing him while hes trying to get home and seriously just because he told us it was serious after his surgery doesn’t mean you have to tweet him that and stop being a directioner. Hes under enough stress don’t build more.

Niall didn’t lie to anyone he is just like anyone else human! All the boys need respect and their privacy. Other wise they get rumors and crap from stupid people that are just rude! I love Niall Harry Liam Louis and Zayn. I believe they all need to live their life as we do!

Niall lied to nobody, his surgery is his own private matter. If a Directioner doesn’t trust him and stops being one because of a lie that their sick mind came up with, they were never a Directioner. They should get privacy when they need it, they’re amazing people and don’t need to get hate and crap. Directioners stand by the boys no matter what. <3 Directioners Always.
