A 9-year-old Leukaemia sufferer had her year made last week when she met the biggest boy band in the world – One Direction.
Appearing at a special event at Wembley’s Cineworld, the One Direction lads surprised Jessica Paulin from Porthleven by bring her up on stage.
Paulin attended a special event in London, which was organised by the Rays of Sunshine charity, an organisation that grants wishes for children with serous illnesses.
As part of the surprise, the One Direction lads: Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne took little Jessica up on stage in which she had her photograph taken with them – how sweet!
Unfortunately, Zayn Malik was ill on the day and couldn’t attend the event, but we think he’s just about pulled through whatever Man Flu he was suffering from.
Jessica’s Mother Maria Paulin said: “She grabbed Louis and gave him a big hug as he is her favourite”
In other 1D-related news, the lads were causing anarchy on the River Thames over the weekend, so much so, a police boat was involved.
No, the lads hadn’t drunk a little too much and stumbled over to central London, they were filming scenes for their brand new video, Midnight Memories.
Pictures snapped on Saturday (December 21) evening show the lads stood on a police boat on the River Thames and even stood on a ledge on the edge of Tower Bridge.
Liam Payne was the daredevil of the evening as he used the bridge like it was a set of monkey bars and even played the air guirar. Poor Niall Horan was looking a tad queasy on the boat, mind – he mustn’t have gotten over getting stuck in that lift a couple of weeks back.
He wasn’t the only one either as Harry was also looking a tad uneasy on the boat.
A witness told The Sun: “Niall stayed closest to the safety crew. He was a little terrified”.
