TOWIE: Arg completes Great North Run and Gemma Collins confirms plans for a TOWIE movie!

by Anna Howell

The Only Way Is Essex star, James Argent, has already proved doubters wrong this year by completing the London Marathon back in April, and now, just to prove it wasn’t a fluke (or steroids) he has taken part in the Great North Run as well!

The self-confessed tubby Essex boy not only ran the marathon, but also did it in an impressive 2 Hrs 35 Mins, racing alongside friend, and Mark Wright’s Hollywood Night’s star, Neil Dobias, but with no sign of girlfriend, Gemma Collins in sight!

After the race, Arg took to social networking site, Twitter, to tweet to fans: ‘Ran The Great North Run in a Respectable 2 Hrs 35 Mins for @PrideOfBritain Thanks for your support X’

Before adding: ‘I’m not fit, but I’ve got heart.’

Considering the very public get together of him and Gemma, not to mention the string of repeated, and very public fallings out between them after, it does seem very quiet all of a sudden, don’t you think?

It was only last month she announced they would be getting wed when they visited Las Vegas at the beginning of this month, but seeing as how neither one of them can keep a secret any longer than they could keep a chocolate bar unwrapped without eating it, we think it is safe to say that it never happened. Question is though, are they even still together?

Speaking of Gemma’s big mouth, the busty blonde has confirmed that the hugely popular ITV2 reality show is planning to make a movie version!

Speaking to heat at this week’s TV Choice Awards, the larger than life reality star admitted:

“Yeah, it’s gonna happen, if Sex And The City can do it, so can we.”

She then went on to reveal that there may be some returning faces such as Mark Wright and Amy Childs for the feature length special:

“Hopefully, if we make a film, we’d all come back together.”

She isn’t the only cast member who has discussed the shows desire for a film, Sam Faiers previously discussed the possible action a TOWIE film could bring:

“There should be a wedding, pregnancy and divorce.” – We aren’t entirely sure she grasps the concept of reality TV!
